Cut the carrots and asparagus to the same length, microwave for 1 1/2-2 minutes.

Evenly coat the thinly sliced meat on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 3
Roll up the vegetables while tugging the meat a bit, and secure with toothpicks.

Asparagus and Pork Flower Rollups Asparagus and Pork Flower Rollups
I wanted to make lots of flowers for a sports festival bento. After putting a lid on in Step 5, roll the rolls around in the frying pan occasionally. When making the rollups, make sure to arrange the aspargus evenly as you would a sushi roll, so that the cut cross section will look like a flower. It's easier to make pretty and colorful rolls if you use raw asparagus stalks. This recipe used to say use thin asparagus, but discovered that regular sized asparagus works better so I edited the recipe. For 6 to 8 pieces. Recipe by Marugo-ru cookpad.japan -

Healthy Beef and Vegetable Rolls Healthy Beef and Vegetable Rolls
I wanted to eat beef teriyaki, but thinly sliced meat was on sale so I decided to make vegetable rolls. I added konnyaku on a whim, but it has a nice texture and was a good addition! I made the teriyaki sauce with a ketchup base to suit my boyfriend's tastes. These are packed with veggies and are really delicious, so I'm going to make them again. The fillings are cooked in advance, so even if you stuff the rolls so much it's properly cooked and flavored all the way through. The key is the konnyaku that's rolled with the vegetables! It has a nice texture! The asparagus tastes rich and delicious! This is great for osechi (New Year's feast food). For 6 rolls.
