Ingredients

Serves 3 to 4 servings
  • 2 pieces(about 1 1/3 lbs) chicken breast (thighs are also fine)
  • 3 tablespoonsketchup
  • 2 tablespoonssake
  • 3 tablespoonssugar
  • 1 tablespoontonkatsu sauce (or medium-thick Worcestershire sauce)
  • About 1 1/4 inches each garlic and ginger paste

Steps

  1. 1

    Put all the seasonings in a storage bag and knead to mix.

  2. 2

    Slice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add to the bag. Knead to coat.

  3. 3

    Flatten as much as possible, remove the air, seal, and freeze.

  4. 4

    When ready to eat, thaw and cook in a frying pan. Once one side is browned, flip, cover with a lid, and cook until done.
