Ingredients

  1. 1 packageoysters
  2. As neededall-purpose flour, eggs, panko breadcrumbs (for coating)
  3. 1little all-purpose flour, salt (for prepping oysters)

Steps

  1. 1

    Rub the oysters with salt and flour, then rinse several times with fresh water. Drain in a colander.

    Coat the oysters thoroughly with flour.

    Using chopsticks, dip the oysters well in beaten egg.

    Press panko breadcrumbs onto the oysters. For small oysters, thread 3 or 4 onto a skewer. Fry in oil at 340°F (170°C) for 3 minutes.
