The apples are moist, and the dough is crispy. You can quickly make this with ingredients you have at home using just one bowl. Enjoy it as a snack at 3 PM or even for breakfast! The origin of this recipe: My mother often baked these cookies for me when I came home from kindergarten. I still remember the irresistible smell filling the entrance when I opened the door. I want to pass this memory on to my daughters. It's an important memory with my mother.

Ingredients

Serves 3 to 4 servings
  1. 2apples
  2. 2eggs
  3. 1 1/4 cupsflour (about 150 grams)
  4. 3 1/3 tablespoonsvegetable oil (about 50 ml)
  5. 1/3 cupsugar (about 80 grams)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    These are the 5 ingredients!

  2. 2

Peel the apples and cut them into quarter slices.

  3. 3

Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them.

  4. 4

    Mix in the sugar.

  5. 5

    Mix in the vegetable oil.

  6. 6

Sift the flour and mix it in. (I usually skip sifting because it's a hassle, haha)

  7. 7

Add the pre-cut apples to the bowl and mix. The batter should stick to the apples.

  8. 8

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour in the mixture. Spread it evenly to avoid uneven baking.

  9. 9

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 35 minutes.

  10. 10

It's done baking! A slight browning on the surface makes it fragrant and delicious.

  11. 11

Once cooled, cut with a knife to finish! Great job!

  12. 12

  13. 13

Sometimes I use 40g sugar, 40g honey, and add cinnamon. It's delicious this way too.
