Thinly slice the Napa cabbage. Cut the enoki mushrooms into 1-inch pieces. Grate the ginger.

Add the sliced cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and water to a pot. Simmer until the cabbage is tender.

Stir in the miso and bring to a gentle boil.
