Cooking Instructions

Wash the sweet potato and soak it in water to remove any bitterness, then slice it into rounds about 1/2 inch thick.

Place the sliced sweet potato in a microwave-safe dish and heat in the microwave at 600W for about 3-4 minutes.

After heating, insert a skewer or similar tool to check if it goes through smoothly. If it does, coat the slices with batter and fry in oil as usual. If not heated enough, microwave for an additional minute at a time.

Once the batter is cooked through, it's ready to serve.
