After mixing, pour the batter into silicone cups or similar molds and place immediately in the steamer. Steam for 12 to 14 minutes.

Insert a toothpick, and if it comes out clean, it's done.

I adjusted the baking powder from 2g to 3g.

Easy Microwave 'Amazake' Sweet Rice Malt Steamed Bread Easy Microwave 'Amazake' Sweet Rice Malt Steamed Bread
Fermented foods are supposed to be good for you, so I made this with amazake. It's a quick snack you can make for children.I used a concentrated amazake, so I diluted it to a drinkable state and used 120 g. If you use ramekins, cook the bread one at a time. In this case, I think it'd be good if you put something like bean paste in the center and top with something like amanatto (sweetened adzuki beans) or pickled cherry blossom petals. I used a ziploc container, but use whatever heatproof container you have. Microwave steamed bread will become hard when cooled, so be sure to eat it while still warm. Oatmeal and Sweet Potato Steamed Bread Oatmeal and Sweet Potato Steamed Bread
This is a variation of my recipe for "Oatmeal Cinnamon Steamed Bread".It's a recipe to use leftover sweet potatoes. You can use the oatmeal as is, but the texture will be chewier and more moist if you take the trouble to pulverize it into a powder. You can prevent condensation from dripping onto the buns by wrapping the steamer lid in cloth, and fixing it with a rubber band. (Don't let the cloth catch on fire!) Recipe by Miyakojika cookpad.japan -
Banana & Sweet Potato Steamed Bread Banana & Sweet Potato Steamed Bread
My son helps me out prepare these. The container I used was a 236 ml round Ziploc container. Because I used a very ripe banana, it was sweet enough even without sugar. I mashed the sweet potato into a paste to make it easier for kids to eat, but I think it would also be delicious if you cut the sweet potato into small cubes. Recipe by Mameichigo cookpad.japan -

To top it off, the calories are much lower than eating a cake. You can enjoy these without any guilt. If you mix too long at Step 5, the bread will come out firm. It's best to enjoy these after they have cooled. Consume by the end of next day. Easy Hand Kneaded Basic Sweet Bread Dough Easy Hand Kneaded Basic Sweet Bread Dough
A friend tipped me on the fact that bread is softer and more tasty using cake flour in the dough, so through a process of trial and error, adding 10 g at a time, I came up with this perfect ratio of ingredients.*Measure the ingredients precisely.*The proofing will not go well without enough moisture in the dough, so spray it with water if it is too dry.*I was also uneasy about the results at first, but the stickiness of the dough will eventually even out to a smooth dough. For those who don't have a bread machine, do your best without it.
