Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Slice the daikon into half-moons and make shallow cuts on the surface. Place both in a microwave-safe dish. Slice the green onion on a diagonal and set aside.

Mix the soy sauce, mirin, and sake, then pour over the daikon in the microwave-safe dish. Microwave until the daikon is mostly tender.

Add a little oil to a skillet and add the chicken.

When the chicken is mostly cooked, add the daikon and the sauce mixture.

Finally, add the green onion and stir-fry briefly. Optional: sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
