Broccoli Salt Namul for Bento Boxes

This is delicious! Just broccoli for a green side in your bento box. It’s quick and easy to make. It’s a light, refreshing side dish that you won’t be able to stop eating!
Recipe background:
I wanted a simple side dish using frozen broccoli I always have on hand. I thought a salty flavor wouldn’t overlap with other dishes and would pair well with anything.

Steps
- 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the frozen broccoli and cook for 30–40 seconds.
- 2
Do not rinse with water. Place the broccoli on a paper towel and blot well to remove moisture. Change the paper towel a few times to absorb as much water as possible. Be careful, it’s hot!
- 3
In a separate bowl, mix the sesame oil and chicken bouillon powder. Break the broccoli into smaller florets and toss with the mixture.
- 4
Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the broccoli, crushing them lightly with your fingers as you add them. Mix everything together and it’s ready to serve!
