Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  • 6chicken wings
  • 4 tablespoonsmirin (about 60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoonscooking sake (about 30 ml)
  • 2 tablespoonssoy sauce (about 30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoonwhite sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • Black pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Rub the chicken wings with salt, then marinate them in mirin and sake for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add oil to a skillet and cook the chicken wings slowly until browned.

  3. 3

    Add the soy sauce and the marinade to the skillet. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and black pepper before serving.
