Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoonground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoonground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 teaspoonhoney or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoongrated fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 pinchblack pepper (helps with turmeric absorption)
  • 1 slicelemon (optional, for squeezing)

    In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
