My go to recipe. Simple easy and delicious!

Mix flour, Cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, milk and cooking oil beating until well incorporated. Pour batter into greased cast iron skillet or oven safe baking dish and bake for 30/35 minutes at 350°F until brown. If you like crunchy edges on your bread, heat the cast iron skillet in the oven until it's hot before adding batter. Cooking times will vary according to ovens so watch your bread for doneness.
