Now put frying pan on a low flame, add ghee to it. Add jeera, green chilly and curry leaves. Saute it well.

Add salt (as per taste), black pepper, and turmeric to it. Add finely chopped potatoes and mix it well.

Now add the soaked sabudana, crushed groundnuts to the pan. Mix it well and keep a lid on the frying pan. Let it boil for 5 minutes on low flame burner. Once the sago softens, add lemon juice and garam masala to the mixture and mix it well. Add coriander leaves to garnish the dish.

Fasting sabudana khichdi is ready to eat

Make sure you soak sabudana in water for 2-3 hours beforehand.
