White Onion Fritters

Simple and yet flavourful, bursting with flavours of freshly sliced White Onions along with the spices added. A perfect one for the evening Snack or a Tea-time accompaniment along with a steaming mug of your hot beverage. These are to die for with their unique texture which is an excellent treat to your tastebuds and loved by all the adults including the elderly for their uniqueness. White Onions are quite milder when compared to the Red one's. Children would also love them without a second thought.
Much similar to the Red Onion Fritters, these are also amazing except that these are mild in taste and flavour. The texture is absolutely perfect for some delicious Fritters that can be whipped up at Tea-time for a lovely snack.
White Onion Fritters or Pakoras are a hit with my family and friends. They would love them on any day for a beautiful treat.

Steps
- 1
Make a thick yet a fluffy batter using all the ingredients mentioned using water as required. Keep aside for 15 minutes or a little more. Now comes the most important part of all. Do not fry them immediately. Give this batter a standing time of at least 30 minutes. This ensures melt in mouth and absolutely delicious pakoras with or without the use of baking soda.
- 2
Meanwhile heat oil for frying after a standing time of considerable duration. Drop small balls of the batter in hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp. Do it on a medium high heat to high heat only.
- 3
Fry in batches of 2 or 3 or as required. Serve these gorgeous Pakoras or Fritters with a dip of your choice.
- 4
I had served these with plain old Ketchup. It is an amazing combination. Enjoy!
