Chiniot is a City in Punjab region in Pakistan. This is an authentic recipe of Mutton Kunna from this region and is famous for it's melt in mouth texture. This can be made with both Mutton and Beef. It's a rich semi thick gravy with simple spices available in every pantry.
It's a meat dish with tender meat cooked to perfection in a clay pot. That's the beauty of this dish. It has a uniqueness to it due to being cooked in a clay pot. It lends that authentic taste to the dish. It is served alongside Naans and is heartily enjoyed in the Subcontinent.
Eid ul Adha calls for celebrations and since meat is an integral part of this Festival, here iam presenting the authentic Chinioti Kunna to mark the festivities.
It's a simple dish. Made with simple ingredients, it is done very easily without any hassles. You will love it's flavour and aroma. The clay pot cooking takes it to an altogether different level. It's absolutely delightful and delectable.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
