At first make a paste with mustard seeds and 5-6 green chillies. Now make poppy paste. Slice 5 green chillies in two portions. Now assemble all ingredients make a paste with gentle hands. Marinate for half an hour.

Now lay the fish pieces into the marinated paste. Rub paste both sides of the fish pieces. Set it aside for 10 minutes. In the mean time bake pumpkin leaves on a frying pan in moderate heat to make the leaves softer. Now

Now on every leaves lay down two pieces of marinated fish with some gravy. Cover the leaves. Bind them with cotton fabric. Now heat a pan with little mustard oil. Fri pumpkin leaves in low flame both sides for a few minutes.

Now delicious Pabda Paturi is ready to serve with steamed rice.
