Ingredients

  • 1 kgWhite Beans
  • Vegetable Oil 4cksp
  • Fresh Ginger 6med pcs
  • Shombo/Chilli Pepper 350g
  • Onions 1big
  • Sardine Fish
  • MaDish Curry Chicken Seasoning Powder 6tbs
  • Terra Gold Seasoning Cube 4
  • Hot water (controlled)
  • Salt 1/2-1tsp
  • Crayfish Powder 1cksp
  • Scotch Bonnet 5-7 pcs

Steps

1hr 30mins max
  1. 1

    After picking out stones&dirt from beans, sterilize it,then soak in water for 20 mins, drain,wet aside
    Also debone sardines,set aside

    Now,add pepper types,onions wedges,peeled ginger all sterilized to beans &blend in a mill till smooth & fluffy

    Next,add seasoning, oil, sardine crayfish Powder,stir well with a spatula,add hot water,but by bit just to loosen it up to a thick,smooth and fluffy texture
    Taste to adjust with lil salt and/or any ingredient of choice,mix well

    Grease moi moi cup with oil,if using pouch,fill up 3/4,same with cup with beans dough

  6. 6

    Add water to a bug pot,bring to boil,put them in seal pouch well,you may cover cups,then cover pit well,cook max 1 Hr 30mins or till tooth puck inserted comes out clean from cup

  7. 7

    Plate& enjoy with pap,garri or as desired
