In Kenya beans are prepared and consumed by most local communities. They are very nutritious and rich in proteins. Beans can be served with rice, chapatis, Ugali.

Put the cooking pan over medium heat and add oil. let the oil heat a little bit and add chopped onions then saute for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.

Once the onions are golden brown, add crushed garlic and saute for a minute.

Add the coriander and tomatoes. Mix well then cover and cook for five minutes.

Then add salt, royco and a cup of water to the sufuria and bring to a boil.

Lastly, add the boiled beans, stir and simmer for a further ten minutes. Serve with rice, Ugali or chapatis.
