Chop the onion and the tomatoes and put them in a cooking pan

Wash and chop the sukuma wiki (kales) and the cabbage into edible size chops in a bowl and add them into the pan

Add salt, cooking oil and pepper (if desired)

Mix the ingredients in the pan

Cover the pan with a lid and mount it on a cooker

Let the contents boil/steam for about 5-7 minutes while you observe to ensure they do not burn. The water contained in the mixture will steam out. Cooking should be undisturbed for constant and uniform heating.

Add 100ml of water, mix and wait for it to boil 3-5 minutes and its cooked.

The vegetable is now ready for serving. Best when served with ugali.
