Chop Kochu into small cubes, marinade with salt and keep rest for 15 - 20 minutes. Wash off very nicely.

Make puree of Tomato + ginger and keep aside.
Make a medium slurry of cumin powder + coriander powder + turmeric powder + red chilli powder + salt and keep aside. - 3
In moderately heated pan add 2 tbsp Oil, add chopped taro root + little salt and sauté for 4-5 minutes till veggies turn softens. Take out and keep aside

In moderately heated add 1 tbsp Oil, allow to heat, add Nigella seeds and allow to sizzle then add the masala slurry + tomato puree and sauté till Masala leaves oil.
Add sautéed Taro root and sauté for around 2 minutes. - 5
Add water and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add Garam Masala and Simmer, cook further for around 2 minutes.
Check that taro root cubes have turned soft or not. - 6
Dish is done.
