Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  • 2big cucumber,halved,remove the seeds and cut in strips.Sprinkle with half spoon of salt and half spoon of sugar
  • Let it sit for at least 10 minutes while you preparing the pounded spices (fun😁)
  • Spices to pound:
  • 3 clovesgarlic
  • 1 teaspoonwhole coriander seeds
  • 5small onions
  • 4candlenuts
  • 1 stalklemongrass
  • Half teaspoon of turmeric powder,salt to taste
  • Don’t forget rinse the cucumber

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Sauté the pounded spiced on medium fire till fragrant,add in turmeric powder and stir more till all mixed

  2. 2

    Add in the cucumber and stir to incorporated.Add salt and a little bit of water (a ladle full of water)

  3. 3

    Stir for the last time and serve.The cucumber texture supposed to be still crunchy.You can eat it as its own with rice or use it for fried tilapia sauce.Check my other recipes later☺️
