Steps

First wash rice twice. Once it is done then strain the rice and keep aside.

Add water in a pan. Add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf. Let it boil t water then add soak rice, salt and ghee. Let it boil the rice for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes drain the water. Once it is done then keep aside.

Now wash the spinach. Blenched the spinach with haldi powder and salt. Once it is done then keep aside. Cool the spinach then make a puree.

Heat ghee in a kadai. Fry cumin seeds, red whole chillies let it crackle for few minutes. Then add chopped onion. Fry till it is light brown in color. Then add garlic and ginger paste. Saute it till the raw smell of Masala goes off.

Then add chopped tomato, black pepper and salt. Fry till the tomato cooked well. Then add spinach puree and salt. Mix it well. Then add boiled rice. Mix it well.Once it is done.

Transfer to a serving plate
Ready to serve....hot..hot.palak Palou.
