Mix margarine,Sugar,1 TSP vanilla extract and salt together then mix till smooth

Add eggs 1 at a time

Then add buttermilk
- 4
Add flour and raisins/crushed nuts optional

Mix well with your hands and place in a buttered baking pan
- 6
Bake for 45 mins in a pre heated oven
- 7
Then allow to cool for 30mins,then slice
