First, heat a bowl of water with sugar until the sugar dissolves. Sift the whole wheat flour into a bowl, add milk and the sugar water to make a thick batter.

Add all the dry fruits and mix well, beating for four to five minutes. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Heat cooking oil in a pan on medium flame. Using a spoon, pour the batter into the oil, shaping it into malpua. Fry until golden and crispy, turning occasionally.

The malpua is ready. If desired, garnish with chopped dry fruits on top and serve. These malpuas are very easy to make and taste delicious.
