This soup is simply delicious without any soup stock, since I make use of the natural taste of the ingredients. Enjoy this healthy and yummy soup :)

Slice the onions. Cut up the chicken (remove any skin but keep it for later), the red turnips and the sweet potato into approx 2 cm cubes. Heat 2 tsp olive oil in a pot. Put in all the chopped vegetables and chicken and stir fry on medium heat for about 4-6 mins. Add seasoning: salt, pepper, garlic powder and herbs.

Next, add 2 to 2.5 cups of water. If there was chicken skin from step 1, include it for making broth and added flavour. Simmer the soup for about 15 min on medium to low heat with the lid on.

Add the can of tomatoes to the pot and mix in gently. Taste and season as needed. Before serving, take out the chicken skin. Delicious served in a soup mug with cheese sprinkled on top. Enjoy!
