Poori Bhaji (Sunday Special Brunch)

The easiest, tastiest poori bhaji recipe! A classic combo where mildly flavored potato side dish is served with puffy puris. It’s a popular breakfast or brunch dish in India. Every region has its own version. This one is my style of Puri Bhaji.
Normally on Sunday or any holidays I make Puri bhaji. My family members and I like it most.
Some times I make masala puri too with bhaji.

Steps

To make Puri..👇
Take wheat Flour in a bowl.
Add semolina,oil and salt.
Mix well.
Add water as required and knead semi thick dough.
Cover it and Give rest for 10 minutes - 2
After resting knead again and make an equal size portion for puris.
Roll them at once and spread on a kitchen napkin. - 3
Heat the oil in a pan when the oil is hot, start frying puris.
Fry all.
Puris are ready. - 4
Now making Bhaji..👇
Peel,wash and cut the Potatoes in cubes.
Grate the tomato and cut the chillies. - 5
Add ghee in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, chilli powder and turmeric powder.
Mix well.
Now add crushed tomatoes and chillies.saute till oil release.
Now add salt,chill and turmeric powder along with fresh coriander.
Saute again,then add water.
When water starts boiling,add Potatoes.
Cover the pan and let it cook on a slow flame till the potato cooks well.
Then switch off the gas.
Transfer the bhaji in the bowl and sprinkle coriander. - 6

Serving time..
Add Puri in the serving dish.
Put bhaji bowl along with chilli pickle,sukhdi pieces and cassava papad.
Yummy and tasty Brunch thali is ready.
