I made this cake in an air fryer for the first time, and it turned out very soft and delicious. It was ready in just 20 minutes. I was very happy with the result. This cake can be easily made in an air fryer without much effort or fuss. I made it without baking soda because I didn't have any at the time, but it still turned out great. However, I recommend adding baking soda for even better results when you try it.

Ingredients

20 minutes
  1. 4fresh strawberries
  2. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1/2 cuppowdered sugar or to taste
  4. 1/2 cupbutter
  5. About 1/2 cup milk or as needed
  6. 1 tablespoonvanilla extract
  7. 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoonbaking soda
  9. 1 tablespoonmelon seeds (optional)
  10. 2-3 tablespoonschopped almonds (optional)

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

First, wash the strawberries thoroughly and cut them into small pieces.

  2. 2

In a blender jar, blend the strawberries with a little milk. If you don't have a measuring cup, make one and use it to add the ingredients in the right proportions. Now, in a mixing bowl, add the powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract.

  3. 3

Whisk everything well to avoid lumps.

  4. 4

Place a sieve over the mixing bowl and sift the all-purpose flour.

  5. 5

Add the baking powder and baking soda, and mix. Gradually add milk to prepare a smooth batter.

  6. 6

Add the prepared strawberry mixture to the batter to make the cake batter.

  7. 7

Line the cake tin with parchment paper or butter paper to prevent sticking. Preheat the air fryer at 340°F (170°C) for 5 minutes. Pour the batter into the cake tin and sprinkle chopped almonds and melon seeds on top. Tap the cake tin 2 to 3 times.

  8. 8

Place the cake tin in the air fryer and set the time for 20 minutes at 340°F (170°C).

  9. 9

The strawberry cake bakes quickly and well in the air fryer. Once cooled, demold the cake and remove the parchment paper.

  10. 10

The cake is made in very little time in the air fryer and is very soft.

  11. 11

A delicious and soft strawberry cake is ready in minutes.
