Thai Sweet Clams with Sweet Basil and Mild Chilli Sauce - WOWeeee :P
OK I live in Thailand and these cost around $2 to make but really worth it even if more expensive - perfect thai dish.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the Clams well so no sand or debrise. You need to prepair all ingrediants as when you cook this goes fast :) also a large pan with a lid helps. Chop garlic and Chilli as fine as you can. Mix the Chilli sauce, sugar, fish sauce, Oyster Sauce (optional) and Milk together. Then we can cook.
- 2
Put a few drops of oil into a large pan - I use a non stick frying pan with lid. heat on medium heat and add the garlic - just cook but not brown then add the chilli and cook for 1 min.
- 3
Next add the chilli paste mixture and cook for about 30 seconds until all combines now turn up the heat and add the shells. Stir to coat well and quickly put on the lid to trap the amazing steam. The shells should open in about 2-3 mins.
- 4
If the sauce looks to dry you can add a few Tbsp of water or a little more of the milk. then put in the Basil stir again and Serve imediately while steaming hot. ENJOY with Steam Jasmine rice.

Sweet and spicy chilli sauce Sweet and spicy chilli sauce
This is a sweet yet spicy tomato sauce that I like to add to my chilli. You could put it on anything you wanted too really but it's a really good fit when mixed into a chilli I think. If you don't want the sweetness to it simply substitute the 9 roma tomatoes with 4 beefsteak tomatoes and leave out the brown sugar entirely. When prepping the peppers don't include the bell peppers' seeds into the mixture however, do include the habanero seeds. Ticsen Vorel -

Super Easy Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Chicken Super Easy Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Chicken
You'll want to marinate this chicken for about an hour or two at least. If it works with your schedule, I find that marinating it and letting sit on the counter for the next hour before roasting results in a good level of seasoning without making the meat feel and taste brined, while bringing the chicken up to room temp, which is optimal for cooking while retaining juices. x -
Just a Bit Spicy Shrimp Mayonnaise with Sweet Chili Sauce Just a Bit Spicy Shrimp Mayonnaise with Sweet Chili Sauce
I thought that I could make shrimp with mayonnaise easily using sweet chili sauce, so I tried it out. I adjusted the recipe to be simple and delicious using just a few ingredients. The sweet chili sauce has umami, so only a few ingredients are needed to make this easy and delicious dish. I served the shrimp on a bed of mizuna greens, and they were also delicious on a bed of deep fried harusame glass noodles. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by Lesser Panda cookpad.japan -

Sweet Onion and Tuna Sandwich with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Mayonnaise♪ Sweet Onion and Tuna Sandwich with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Mayonnaise♪
User "mybinue's" chili dip was very tasty, so I tried using it in a bagel sandwich. It will be tastier if you use sweet onions. User "umemikki" said that it's nice with normal onions if you fry them first. This time I used non-oil tuna. If you are using tuna packed in oil, make sure you drain it well. Chicken Nanban with Sweet Chili Sauce Chicken Nanban with Sweet Chili Sauce
Once I had chicken nanban somewhere that tasted like chili sauce...so I tried to recreate it using chili sauce instead of Nanban sauce.Fry chicken first over high heat with skin side down until browned. Then flip it over and put a lid on. Fry over low heat to get a better result.I used chicken breast this time. It turned out soft and filling! If you use chicken thigh, it will be juicy and delicious.
