Red Wine Cookies without Eggs or Butter

Traditional Italian wine cookies from the Lazio region. These quick-to-make cookies require only a few ingredients, and it's important to use quality ones. These are dessert cookies. In Lazio, they are slightly dipped in wine, similar to how Tuscan cantucci are dipped in Vin Santo.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and knead to obtain a soft and homogeneous dough. Form a ball and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 2
Take small amounts of dough and shape them into small rings, roll in granulated sugar, and continue until all the dough is used. Place each ring on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated convection oven at 340°F (170°C) for 25 minutes.
- 3
Remove from the oven and let cool before serving. My kitchen was filled with an indescribable and unforgettable aroma. These are excellent to enjoy at the end of a meal dipped in wine as per Lazio tradition or on their own as a dessert with a spoonful of custard on the side.
- 4
You can substitute the wine with coffee, milk, orange juice, etc. The taste will change, but they will still be good cookies.

Banana Cookies without Eggs or Dairy Products! Banana Cookies without Eggs or Dairy Products!
My friend told me that she wanted an allergy-friendly sweets recipe for her one-year-old. I decided that it would be best to make this with simple ingredients and simple steps. If you have it, substitute shortening for the vegetable oil to make the cookies crispier. You don't need to weigh anything to bake this. For example, the recipe calls for 5 g of baking powder. Just buy the packages that come in 5 g portions (if available). If not, a heaping teaspoon will suffice. If you're making this for a one year-old, don't use honey, and use maple syrup instead. This gives the cookies a gentler sweetness, and this just happens to be how I prefer them. You can add coconut milk as well to round out the flavors and make them more delicious. Recipe by Nachikuro cookpad.japan -
