Ingredients

45 minutes
10-12 slices
  • 3bananas
  • 1 tbspground flax and 3 tbsp (let sit to create a flax egg) or 1 normal egg
  • 2 cupsblended oats or oat flour(3 cups of whole oats)
  • 1 tbspapple cider vinegar
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • .5 tspbaking soda
  • .25 cupmaple syrup
  • .5 cupplus 1 tbsp or an overflowing.5 cup applesauce
  • .5 cupshredded coconut
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • All spice
  • Pinch-.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • Toppings: chocolate chips, oats, banana, coconut etc
  • Optional nuts; pecans or walnuts

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 305 F

  2. 2

    Blend your oats and measure 2 cups into a bowl, save the rest

  3. 3

    Blend or mash your bananas and prepare your flax egg.

  4. 4

    Mix all of your dry ingredients and spices together

  5. 5

    Add in banana and other liquids

  6. 6

    Add in nuts or chocolate

  7. 7

    Spray a pan with olive or canola oil or coat with butter

  8. 8

    Top with your toppings

  9. 9

    Pour the batter in and place in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

  10. 10

    Remove from pan and let set for 10 minutes before cutting off a slice.

  11. 11

    Top with berries, chocolate spread, Greek yogurt or eat plain and enjoy!
