Ingredients

2 hrs 30 minutes
  • 4 lbBeef
  • 1large onion
  • 1 cupbaby carrots
  • 2 tablespoonssliced ginger
  • 1 teaspoonblack pepper
  • 1 tablespoonspicy bean sauce
  • 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  • 3 tablespoonsrice wine
  • 1Chinese herb bag
  • 8 cupswater

Steps

2 hrs 30 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the beef into cubes

  2. 2

    Sear the beef in a pot. Removed from the pot.

  3. 3

    Stir fry the onions in the pot until it is translucent. Add ginger and carrots and stir fry a little bit more

  4. 4

    Put the meat back and add the remaining seasonings and water. Cook until boiled.

  5. 5

    Lid on, small fire, stew for another 2 hours.
