Ingredients

15-20 mins
  • 2 lbsthin sliced beef (or any protein you want)
  • 1Medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 4 ozkimchi, chopped, reserve the juice
  • 3 clovesgarlic, chopped
  • 2 TBSPgrated ginger
  • 8 ozchicken stock
  • 1/4 cupgochujang paste (this really depends on your spice preference)
  • 2 ozsoy sauce
  • 1 ouncerice vinegar
  • 3 TBSPsesame oil
  • 2 TBSPbrown sugar
  • 2 tspMSG (optional)

Steps

15-20 mins
  1. 1

    In a heated skillet or wok add your sesame oil

  2. 2

    Add your garlic, ginger, and onions. Cook for 3 minutes

  3. 3

    Add thin sliced beef and sauté for 2-3 minutes

  4. 4

    Add your chopped kimchi and cook for an additional 2-3 mins

  5. 5

    Add your reserved kimchi juice, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer for 2 minutes

  6. 6

    Add your gochijang, brown sugar, and msg. Cook for 1 minute

  7. 7

    Add your chicken stock and let reduce for about 2-3 minutes.

  8. 8

    Serve over rice.
