In a bowl, combine sattu(roasted gram flour), sifted gram flour, semolina, turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida (hing), crushed carom seeds (ajwain), salt to taste, tomato, cauliflower, onion, chopped cabbage, and green chilies. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil and mix well. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter. Cover and let it rest for 10 minute.

Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with oil. Place 2 tablespoons of batter from the mixture in the center of the pan and spread it evenly.

Place the batter on the tawa and cook until brown spots appear, ensuring both sides are nicely roasted. Then, remove the Chilla to a plate. Make all the chilla in this way.

Serve the hot Sattu Chilla with yogurt or green chutney.
