Pearl Millet soft vada

Collect pearl millet flour and whole white urad. Keep aside.

Keep a fry pan on medium heat, and add urad dal,fry till the aroma comes out. Remove and let it cool. Transfer to a mixer jar, grind it into a fine powder.

Take another mixer jar add green chillies, ginger, curry leaves, cumin seeds and salt, add twl table spoon water. Grind it into a fine paste. Add pearl millet flour,urad dal powder,and green chillies paste. Sprinkle some water, mix well to combine together. Vada batter is ready now.

Keep a kadai,add oil. Keep it medium heat. Drop the batter with the centre hole. Fry both sides turn golden brown. Remove and put it in the kitchen tissue.

Transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot with coconut chutney, tomato chutney or tomato ketchup.

Enjoy the healthy and tasty pearl millet vada with any chutney or ketchup.
