Steps
- 1
1. Make the dry mix dough:
In a bowl, combine paneer, corn flour, besan, salt, onion, chat masala, chilie powder, ginger grated, finely chopped chilie and coriander
- 2
Mix everything dry (no water!) until it forms a soft dough that holds together
- 3
If it's too dry, gently knead using your hands — paneer’s moisture is enough.
If too wet, add a little extra corn flour or besan.
Shape and stuff:
Take a small portion of the dough, flatten it.
Place a cheese cube in the center, fold and roll into a ball.
Repeat for all balls.
- 4
Fry:
Heat oil in a pan (medium flame).
Fry the balls until golden brown and crisp.
Drain on tissue.
- 5
Serve with:
Tomato ketchup and green chutney
