Rice and locust (formented) beans

Let me just say that when I found these tasty little morsels I was elated to find them. As soon as I got home I cooked some to check the flavor and wow it was definitely love at first bite 🤭 I just put this together with some leftover veggies I needed to use

Steps
- 1
Have you rice cooked. Boil black beans first and drain about 20-30 mins. Check the tenderness. Locust beans about the same 20-30 mins. When locusts are finished cooking save about 1c of the liquid they boiled in and if u don’t have 1c remaining just keep what u have aside. Get all the vegetables chopped. I used a potato peeler. Garlic & scotch bonnets chopped too.

Fry on medium heat using 1 tbsp sesame oil fry onion, scotch bonnets and garlic until onions change color. Add the rest of the oil and add all the other vegetables and cook on medium for about 2-3 minutes and add the Worcestershire and turn heat up to medium high and let it reduce just a bit and then add the beans. Keep heat at medium high cook for about 2-3 minutes. Turn off and let rest.
