Steps
- 1
In a bowl, add the ground meat, salt, black pepper (optional), garlic powder, and parsley. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.
- 2
After 30 minutes, take out the bowl and add the milk, the slice of bread soaked and crumbled in plant-based milk, and the breadcrumbs. Mix well.
- 3
Once mixed, form the meatballs and place them in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes. This recipe makes about 16 meatballs.
- 4
Next, take frozen French fries and cook them in the air fryer at 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
- 5
While the fries are cooking, make the tomato sauce. In a saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil. Add the garlic powder, parsley, tomato sauce, and a shot glass of water (use the tomato sauce jar to measure).
- 6
Reduce the heat to medium (about level 6), add the meatballs, and let them simmer in the tomato sauce for 5 minutes.
- 7
Once the meatballs and fries are done, serve and enjoy!
