Starters or Appetizers can be very well made even with dry Pulses too and not just Non-Veg one's with a variety of fresh Fish, Prawns, Chicken etc. That's the best thing about this dish. And so here i present Chana Chilli or Chilli Chana with White Chickpeas or Kabuli Chana that's filled with utmost nutritional value.
This is my way of doing a simple take on the ever popular Indo-Chinese starter dish known to everyone of us as the Chilli Chicken. It's made in two ways, dry and gravy based. In this particular Vegetarian version of it, I have used dry White Chickpeas and kept it mildly gravy based with a bang.
And I usually pack this for Lunch for my family and also serve it for Dinner as well with simple homemade Rotis. Not only is it an easy peasy one but also a lovely option for anytime. It's a perfect party starter dish. You would not regret it. It can be a perfect choice for any party or a special occasion. It is done with just a few simple ingredients and also without much difficulty too. It could never go wrong. You just need to soak the Chana overnight and then boil it for best results. A dumdaar addition to the exclusively made Vegetarian Starter dishes in India. Let's begin with the recipe straight away.
