Soak the textured soy protein in 1 cup of hot vegetable broth with soy sauce, paprika, and salt.

Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil until golden brown.

Add the drained soy protein and red wine, and cook until the alcohol evaporates.

Stir in the tomato sauce and mix well.

Add the chopped potatoes and carrots, and mix.

Pour in 1 cup of vegetable broth and add the bay leaf. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

With 10 minutes left, add the thawed peas and 3 tablespoons of the water and flour mixture, previously heated in the microwave.

Serve hot.
