Air fryer chicken tikka skewers

Grilling season might be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to those smoky BBQ flavours! You can still enjoy that same delicious taste right in your kitchen with these Air Fryer Chicken Tikka Skewers — and a little trick using coal for that perfect smoky touch.
The chicken is marinated in a mix of yogurt, ginger, garlic, and all the classic tikka spices — think cumin, coriander, chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, and garam masala. Once it’s nicely coated, just let it rest for a bit to soak up all those bold flavours.
Pop the skewers into your air fryer and let them cook until juicy and slightly charred. Now for the best part — place a small piece of hot coal in a bowl, drizzle a drop of oil over it, and quickly cover the dish to trap that beautiful smoky aroma. In just a few minutes, your kitchen will smell like a BBQ party!
Serve your tikka skewers with mint chutney, naan, and a squeeze of lemon.
Who says you can’t have that grilled taste indoors? These air fryer chicken tikka skewers are the perfect way to bring BBQ vibes to your table all year round.
