Ingredients

  • 1 pieceEgg
  • 100 mlWater
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 10 gCarrot (for decoration)
  • 1/2 tspWhite sesame seeds

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Beat the egg in a bowl and mix with water and salt until smooth.

  2. 2

    Strain the mixture into a heatproof cup.

  3. 3

    Cut carrot into thin strips for decoration.

  4. 4

    Place carrot strips on top of the egg mixture.

  5. 5

    Steam over low heat for 10-12 minutes until set.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle white sesame seeds on top before serving.

Tips

For a creamier texture, ensure the egg mixture is well strained before steaming.
