Defrost your beef round roast. When we buy it at the store we usually cut it in potions as 6-12 lbs. will be very large. We cut approximate to the size of our crockpot. After a section is defrosted when ready, slice down the center and fillet it hamburger width for it to cook evenly.

Take the tomato sauce and spices with onion soup packet and gravy packet with the butter and place that in the bottom of crockpot turn it on and warm the mixer.

While the crockpot is warming the defrosting of the beef roast is going. Dice up all veggies and place them in a bowl. Now that the defrost has been mostly completed it is workable. Cut off a tester tip as it will be sifted later after cooking. Turn the roast vertical so it looks like a standing hotdog take you chef knife and drive it right through the middle. Repeat until it is cut all the way through. Take tomato and spice mix and massage it all of the meat in the crock pot. ItwiilnotbHot

Arrange the meat to cover the bottom with the tomato mixture. Spillin the mix mostly on top to work on the veggies.when you dump the veggies in also rotate your hand and cover the tomato mix on the veggies. Fill to top with water. Crock pot should be on high.
Tips
Stage your prep. One step at time will come together better if your moving fluid throughout your prep time. Raw meat should only come into contact with your other ingredients when it is paired with heat. Cut veggies before the meat.
