A simple recipe with basic ingredients that tastes great thanks to the combination of flavors.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for about 5 minutes, until they turn pink. When done, peel and devein the shrimp. (Frozen shrimp can be used.)

Chop all the vegetables: tomatoes, onion, avocado, cucumber, and peppers.

Squeeze the limes and oranges. Mix the juice with the Maggi seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. If you can't find sour oranges, substitute with orange soda.

In a large bowl, combine the chopped vegetables and shrimp. Pour the liquid mixture over everything and adjust seasoning as needed. Add hot sauce to taste.

Serve in a tall glass or a deep bowl with plenty of sauce.
