Ingredients

  1. 200 gPaneer cubes
  2. 1/2 cupGreen Peas
  3. 1Onion, finely chopped
  4. 1Tomato
  5. 1 inchGinger piece
  6. 2Green Chillies
  7. 1 tbspGarlic paste
  8. 4 tbspOil
  9. 1Bay leaf
  10. 1Cinnamon
  11. 1 tspCumin seeds
  12. 1 tspTurmeric powder
  13. 1 tspRed Chilli powder
  14. 1 tspGaram masala powder
  15. 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  16. 1 tspSalt
  17. 1 tbspchopped Coriander leaves
  18. 2 tbspCream

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    In a mixer jar, grind tomato, ginger and green chillies together.

    Fry paneer pieces in oil till golden brown. Remove from oil.

    In the remaining oil put bay leaf, cinnamon and cumin seeds.

    Add chopped onions and fry till pink in colour.

    Add garlic paste and tomato paste and mix well.

    Add powder spices and mix well. Cook on high heat till oil starts separate.

    Add green peas and salt in pan and mix well.

    Add ½ cup water, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes.

    Now add fried paneer cubes and cream.

    Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes and add kasuri methi.

    Switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves.
