In a mixing bowl take chickpea flour, add salt in it and mix well. Now add half cup water or as required to adjust consistency, there shouldn't be any lumps in it.

In a kadhai heat oil, add mustard seeds once it crackles put asafoetida, turmeric and green thecha in it, saute it on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Now simmer the flame and add 1/4 cup of water in it. Allow it to boil.

Now put the chickpea mixture and start stirring it on low flame until it thickens. Once it boils switch off the gas flame.

Serve hot with steamed rice, bhakri, chapati, flatbread.
Tips
Always serve hot!
