Steps
- 1
Clean minced lamb and marinate for a few hours with curd, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Boil minced meat in a pressure cooker and evaporate all stock.
- 2
In a separate pan, heat oil, add whole garam masala and finely chopped onions. Saute until golden brown.
- 3
Add cooked meat, coriander powder, garam masala powder and keep stirring now and then for 10-15 minutes until dry. Add in chopped mint and coriander leaves. Garnish with green chillies, if desired and serve with roti (Indian bread) or rice. You can add lime juice before serving (optional).
- 4
Pickled vegetables in vinegar, my earlier recipe would go well with this dish. Frying minced meat in an iron wok will give a deep brown color to the meat.
