Steps
- 1
Mix flour and salt together.Mix the yeast+sugar+water with powdered milk for 5 minutes until frothy
- 2
Add the flour and salt mixture to the frothy batter and make it to a fine dough.
- 3
Knead the dough on a dry surface by sprinkling a little flour if necessary(tip: Texture to be like pizza dough). leave the dough to be raised for an hour's time
- 4
Place the dough in a tajine. If you do not have a tajine,a normal pizza pan or a round cake mould should be fine. Grease the pan and spread the dough in the pan to 1 1/2 inch thickness.
- 5
Melt some butter and pour over the dough. Finally put the pan in a preheated oven for about 20-30 minutes at 180C.
- 6
Remove the tajine bread out from the oven. Allow it to cool and can be served warm or cold with some yummy gravies or Dhal Halwa.
