Baked Banana Bread (ROTI GEDHANG)

This bread I already knew before I got married, when I was still living with my parents. This recipe is easy to put together and the ingredients are also. I usually use a size 20 cm baking dish. But because yesterday I was looking for the pan I usual use and did not find it, I ended up cooking with a versatile wok... successful dough rise and not soggy. But because the wok is too wide, the cake is so wide in all directions.
It's okay, the important thing is my husband like the taste... but for the lessons that need to be remembered, tomorrow if we want to create must also be adapted to the toaster his place. Below is the original recipe using my usual 20 cm pan size.
Of the ingredients below, the results can be presented for 4-6 people...

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 135°C and prepare a baking sheet, spread with butter and sprinkle flour evenly. In a small bowl, combine the mashed bananas and lemon juice. In another bowl, mix flour and baking soda.
- 2
Beat butter and sugar until well blended and sugar becomes smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla and coconut milk. Whisk until fluffy.
- 3
Add mashed bananas, whisk constantly until well blended.
- 4
Add the flour mixture little by little. After wrapping, pour the batter into the pan and bake in oven for 45 minutes or until done (check with a toothpick).
- 5
While waiting for the dough is cooked, make the sauce. Melt the butter and sugar until the sugar dissolved and then turn off the heat, put in the grated cheese and stir quickly until well blended --- the flame is purposely turned off, so that there is no bubbling when the cheese is inserted.
- 6
Remove the bread from the oven, then pour the cheese sauce on top. Can be served hot or cold.
- 7
Ready to be enjoyed during the event with family and friends.

Try this recipe if you have a pair of left over bananas - those which are overly ripe and the skins have slightly darkened. The quantity is enough for a 20x10x5 pan. alfredsanpedro -

Banana Bread Banana Bread
I usually double this recipe, making 1 loaf and 1 batch of muffins. The recipe is very versatile. You can add more banana if you'd like to increase the banana flavor. I have also made it with add-ins (choc. chips, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts). Stir in after flour. cmckay75 -

Banana Bread Banana Bread
When I was young, my grandma used to always bake banana bread for us, and we'd eat a slice for breakfast every morning before school. Now that I'm older, I've found myself frequenting coffee shops in the morning, searching for the sweet smell of fresh baked banana bread. On most day, a slice is not difficult to find, but every once in a while, my go to spot sells out before I can reach it. For those days, I've started baking my own.Banana bread is very simple to make, and this recipe is very straightforward, though I've added my own twist by baking the bananas with sugar first to add a little caramelization and bring out the banana's aroma.Hope you enjoy! kev.link -
Chocolate banana bread Chocolate banana bread
It’s a fail-proof, yeast-less bread recipe which you can customise all you want!I used dark cocoa powder as recommended by a friend. The colour turns it to be more pleasing. The chocolate taste wasn’t as distinct but it complemented the bananas. This recipe was shared by my friend, Michelle. jumeieats -
