This beloved street food is a hot and spicy sausage sandwich.
Sosis, meaning "sausage" in Farsi, takes centre stage. Unlike typical Persian cuisine, these sausages are typically made with beef .
The "bandari" part refers to the dish's origins in Iran's southern port cities bordering the Persian Gulf.

Regardless of its origin story, sosis bandari has become a national favorite. This quick and affordable treat is a hit with people of all ages. Vendors pile juicy, spiced sausages onto fluffy flatbreads like lavash or pita, making it the perfect grab-and-go meal.
So next time you're looking for a unique and delicious street food adventure, seek out sosis bandari! #sosis_bandari
