Black Soybean Steamed Bread Black Soybean Steamed Bread
Kuromame (sweetened black soybeans) are a standard item for oshogatsu New Year's feasts. Since I love them, every year, I buy the large black soybeans from the Tanba-Sasayama region, and simmer them for 6 to 8 hours. But every year, I have leftover liquid from stewing them. It's supposed to be good for your health, but since it's full of sugar, it doesn't seem right to drink it. I usually toss it out with regret since it seems wasteful, however, last year, at New Year's, when making basic steamed bread, I substituted the milk and sugar with the leftover liquid and they turned out great! The key to making these is the same as basic steamed bread. Adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of the liquid you have. Add a tablespoon of sugar if it's not sweet enough. If you don't have a cup of liquid, substitute with milk. When mixing, don't stir too much. For those who don't have a steamer, boil a small amount of water in a sauce pan, then set a bowl or plate inside, and steam one by one. Test the recipe with half the amount first. Recipe by Shirufi- cookpad.japan -
Braided Bread Filled with Sweetened Beans Braided Bread Filled with Sweetened Beans
I wanted to copy the cutely shaped sweet bean bread that is sold at a nearby bakery. I endlessly searched the net for a recipe similar to it, but I wasn't able to find one that had the same shape.Maybe girls would like them if you make them in a round or heart-shaped pan? This cardboard pan can be used only in the oven. It is held together with staples, so do not use it in a microwave. There is a risk of fire if you use this in a microwave. Recipe by O-sakaya cookpad.japan -

Chewy Steamed Bread with Pancake Mix & Bread Flour Chewy Steamed Bread with Pancake Mix & Bread Flour
I really wanted to eat some chewy steamed bread but when I tried to make it with shiratamako, it just wouldn't mix.I should use it for dango instead, so I tried with bread flour and it went quite well.・Pancake mix is a little sweet, whereas rice flour is not, so it needs a bit more sugar than the recipes that use 100% pancake mix.・These have a really light taste so they go well with jam or something similar. Adzuki Bean Bread (Using a Bread Maker) Adzuki Bean Bread (Using a Bread Maker)
One Cookpad user wrote that when she added water from a can of boiled adzuki beans to the bread, it tasted like an adzuki bean ice cream bar, so I wanted to try making it. I decided to combine the adzuki bread with some matcha bread dough. I played with different amounts of canned adzuki beans and water, and unexpectedly came up with a good combination, so I uploaded it.I think the amount of water in the adzuki beans varies slightly from maker to maker. After the bread maker starts the kneading process, open the lid and be ready to add some milk if necessary. There isn't much green tea dough, so you can knead it well while keeping an eye on the bread maker. Even when I made 1.5 loaves with just ◎, it turned out to be a rather delicious bread. Monkey Bread Monkey Bread
I bought a piece of stoneware at the thrift shop. Unbeknownst to me, there were a few recipes inside of it. One was for monkey bread. I actually had some yeast inside of the cabinet. I took the liberty of adding my own flavors and ingredients but made sure not to deviate from the method so much as to totally mess up the recipe. I am not a baker... but I will admit that I have come very far from where I used to be. The fact that I can make a biscuit from scratch ought to give me an honorary culinary degree. I digressed. Monkey Bread Monkey Bread
#breads Monkey bread is also called as Puzzle bread, Hungarian coffee bread, bubble bread and/or pull-a-part bread. Monkey Bread is one of the most popular "American" breakfast dishes. Despite the name, this bread has no connection with the primates. It is believed that the name "monkey bread" attributes to the fact that the bread being a pull-a-part finger food, the enjoyer would pick apart the bread as a monkey would. Monkey bread is a sweet, sticky, gooey, soft, pinch -me bread made from little balls of dough rolled in cinnamon sugar and baked together in a bundt pan.In this recipe, I filled each of the dough balls with chocolate spread to give it an extra chocolatey twist. Light and Puffy Homemade Naan Bread in a Pan Light and Puffy Homemade Naan Bread in a Pan
I wanted to make naan that not only went well with curry, but could be enjoyed for breakfast if any were left over. Since they can be cooked in a frying pan and will puff up nicely, they might be easier than regular rolls or loaves of bread!Since the dough continues to rise with residual heat after it's microwaved, put it in a warm place if possible. The dough will puff up when it's cooked.Since I added yogurt to the dough, it has a lightly tart, but easy-to-eat flavor. If you use milk only it will have a gentle creamy flavor. I recommend that too. For 4 pieces. Recipe by yaburie cookpad.japan -

Chewy Steamed Bread with Mochiko & Pancake Mix Chewy Steamed Bread with Mochiko & Pancake Mix
I really wanted to eat a chewy steamed bread so I tried it at first with shiratamako. That didn't go too well, since shiratamako is supposed to be used for dango dumpling-like recipes, so I tried with mochiko instead and it worked!Pancake mix is quite sweet but mochiko isn't, so it's better to use more sugar here than in a 100% pancake mix recipe. This bread has a very light flavour so it's most delicious when served with a sweet spread like jam. For 6-10 servings. Recipe by Pukuttopukumaru cookpad.japan
